Enjoy
an exciting real life experience and see over 300 species of wildlife in
beautiful Gardens.
The Seal and Penguin Coasts enable visitors, for the first time, to come
face-to-face with penguins and seals in their natural element - beneath the
waves - through transparent underwater walkways.
Gorilla Island is home for three western lowland gorillas. The Island is
one of the Zoo's most popular features with only a moat separating visitors from
these magnificent animals. Shimmering spots, stripes
and spines are always on show in the colourful Aquarium. Here you'll find
over a thousand species of fish like the clown fish on the right.
In the Reptile House you will find many animals that are part of a co-ordinated
breeding programme. By successfully producing offspring like the African dwarf
crocodiles the Zoo is able to ensure a future for many threatened species.
